Holy Cross School is an independent, co-educational Catholic school offering classes from Pre-Kindergarten through to Grade 8 with an enrollment of approximately four hundred (400) students.

Established in 1925, Holy Cross School has been providing a Catholic education to students for over 85 years.  Throughout the years, Holy Cross School has developed a tradition of excellence, which has fostered the spiritual and academic growth of its      students.  From the inception of the parish, the importance of Christian education was paramount and parishioners were dedicated in their support of their children's education.

Gonzaga Middle School (GMS) provides an enhanced, holistic, Manitoba Education approved, co-educational, culturally sensitive middle school education to Grade 6-8 students from low-income families in the Point Douglas and North East Downtown neighbourhoods. It adapts best practices of Jesuit Nativity model schools to the local neighbourhood providing: a strong academic program, longer school day, before and after school programming, extended school year (including summer camp weeks), enrichment activities, and mentoring and graduate  support programs. It will also provide a nutrition program (breakfast, lunch and two snacks), transportation to and from school, technology and other supports.

GMS seeks to develop “men and women for others” while    preparing students for success in high school and post-secondary study.  It supports its students of all cultural and faith backgrounds in their growth toward becoming hopeful, confident, morally responsible leaders for love and service of their families and communities.

Holy Ghost School is a kindergarten to grade 8 Catholic school located in Winnipeg’s North End.  The school was established by the Oblate Fathers in 1902 and celebrated its 100th anniversary in October 2002.  At Holy Ghost School certified teachers teach a religion program in addition to the regular provincial curriculum.  Teachers strive to    educate the children in the areas of religious study, academics and social behaviour.  Teachers work closely with the families of the almost 260 students at the school to achieve these goals, recognizing the parents as the first and primary educators of their children.
